Depending on your company's needs, you have the choice between two monthly account billing methods: consolidated or individual payments.
By choosing consolidated payments, you make only one payment for all your VISA Desjardins Business card accounts. The payment is made to your main or master account.
Individual payments make it possible for you to pay each VISA Desjardins Business card account or secondary account directly. This option's advantage is that it frees up the card's credit limit as soon as the payment is made
on the employee's account. Separate cheques must be issued for each VISA Desjardins Business card.
Main account
This account links all of your company's secondary accounts.
It is opened in the name of your company and the person responsible for the account.
All account statements are mailed to the main account address, to the attention of the person responsible for the account.
A summary account statement is issued for the main account listing the balance of each VISA Desjardins Business card account or secondary account.
Also listed is information on the balance, payments and credit fees charged since the last billing cycle.
Secondary account
Account is linked to company's main account.
Card is issued in employee's name.
A detailed statement account of purchases and cash advances is produced for each secondary account.
Flexible payment options:
The Authorized Payment option allows you to automatically settle your account balance
By cheque.
At any VISA affiliated institution.
Only the annual fees for optional services such as Business Cheques ($20) and the Business Expenses Management Plan ($15) are charged to your company's main account.
